A watch records everything.
Djok actually reads it.

Djok is an artificial intelligence coach. It reads every second recorded during a ride, namely power, heart rate and cadence, along with sleep and heart rate variability. From that it derives the day's nutrition and training, for cycling as well as running.

  • Every second of the ride
  • Cycling and running
  • No invented numbers

The application's home screen. Values shown are illustrative.

What Djok does

On waking

The day is worked out before breakfast

Djok summarises the night, then sets the day's macronutrient target in grams, based on body weight, the planned training load and the temperature.

Nutrition

Counters rather than a food diary

Amounts consumed are entered through the day, and the counters go down accordingly. Barcode, photo or plain text: recognition only proposes a list, which the athlete corrects to the gram, and nothing is recorded without that step. Every line shows where its figure comes from — packaging, photo or estimate — and drinks are counted in millilitres. The entry belongs to the athlete. A second tab shows the micronutrients — iron, magnesium, vitamins, omega-3 — averaged over the last few days, always as minimums: the database knows nothing about the micros of scanned products, and the table says so rather than showing a zero.

Workouts

Workouts run in the app

Djok builds them from measured weaknesses and the freshness of the day, then adds them to its calendar once the proposal has been accepted. The app runs them and controls the smart trainer. Nothing is added before that agreement.

After the ride

Records that are computed, not commented on

Difference from the previous best effort, power-to-weight ratio, best performances over six weeks, three months and the season. These are verifiable values, not congratulations.

Load

Where the load goes, not just how much of it

Two weeks carrying the same load can be thirty hours of base or eight hours at threshold. Djok splits training load by effort type — recovery, endurance, tempo, threshold, VO2max, anaerobic — from second-by-second power, and shows what the total leaves out: an effort can account for eight per cent of the time and a third of the load.

And when it landed: from seven days to your whole history, every period keeps its place on the timeline — a rest week shows up instead of vanishing between the two around it.

Goals

Progress that is genuinely measured

Power, weight or preparing for an event: Djok reports progress from the recorded starting value, along with the volume still to be completed in the current week.

Fatigue

A warning before the session too many

When heart rate variability falls, sleep grows short and form declines, Djok combines these signals and warns before the session too many is completed.

Conversation

Ask the question, rather than hunt for the screen

The coach answers inside the app, with the athlete's own measurements at hand and a library of referenced scientific papers. When a question is too vague to have a single right answer, it asks for a clarification instead of guessing — feeling tired reads quite differently depending on whether the subject is sleep, training load or nutrition.

Sharing

Show a ride without opening your account

A ride can be shared through a link that Djok deliberately keeps short-lived : it expires after 24 hours. The page shows the route, distance, duration, elevation gain and averages — with the track trimmed by 200 metres at both start and finish, so that the athlete's home does not appear on it. It shows neither the session analysis, nor the perceived effort, nor the threshold power.

An artificial intelligence that invents no numbers

The artificial intelligence writes the guidance and explains the reasoning. The numbers themselves do not come from it: records, training load and the day's requirements are computed by the software from the recorded measurements, and give the same result every time. When a measurement is missing, Djok says so rather than estimating it.

Data read on Wahoo and Polar

Access is granted from the athlete's own Wahoo or Polar account. It is withdrawn in the same place, or from the app, at any time. Djok reads this data and writes nothing to these services.

Access Use
Wahoo, rides read Ride analysis from the activity files, power curves, training load, notable efforts. Workouts planned in SYSTM count as planned
Polar, nights read Heart rate variability, sleep and its stages (light, deep, REM), resting heart rate, respiration
Profile read Height, body weight, date of birth, when the service holds them

The data remains the athlete's own

It is never sold and is never used for advertising. The nutrition knowledge base is queried on our own servers: for that part, no data leaves the Djok infrastructure.

The full list of recipients, their purpose and the retention periods is set out in the privacy policy.
